One of the biggest and facilitated cruise liners ever built, the Celebrity Solstice is also the largest luxury cruise ship to run. It offers passengers 11 decks to explore, on which they will find anything they want!

Emma Maersk, the biggest container transporter in the world with a declared capacity of 11,000 TEU, is able to handle a significantly greater number of containers than any other ship currently in operation. It has a length of 397 metres, over 31 metres longer than the next longest container ship, the Maersk ‘G’ classes, and a width of 57 metres, 15 metres wider than any other container ship. If the containers on board were lined up end to end, they would stretch approximately 42 miles.

The vessel is longer than the height of some well-known landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower, which measures 320 meters, and the Empire State Building, at 381 meters. It is four times the length of a normal football pitch.

Yves Rossy, a Swiss airplane pilot had a dream many of us share, to fly through the clouds, like a bird, but unlike most of us, he chose to actually do something about it and in 2006 he became the first man to fly with wings and four jet engines strapped to his body. On Wednesday he took to the sky in his amazing vehicle in his first public demonstration in Bex, Switzerland, in the Swiss Alps. The stunt also included an emergency parachute landing, programmed to immediately deploy if he blacks out. It was an amazing 6 minutes-performance that showed the world flying isn’t only done in an airplane.

Rossy is now preparing for a flight over the English Channel and he says he dreams of flying through the Grand Canyon, but for that he needs stronger propulsion engines. Right now, his equipment allows him to fly at about 300km/h, so you wonder what bigger engines can do? One of the most amazing things about the Fusion Man is that he does all his steering just by using his body, which can get really tricky at high speeds.

This becomes effective JANUARY 27, 2010. The National Highway Safety Council has done extensive Testing on a newly Designed Seat Belt.

Results show that accidents can be reduced by as much as 95%

when the belt is properly installed.
